Vinyl Flooring

Construction: Siena LVT Tiles + Planks are manufactured with a high molecular weight polymerized wear layer supported by a high strength vinyl backing. Siena LVT is built with a PROTECH® UV cured polyurethane finish. PROTECH® is a protective anti-soil coating that is incorporated into the wear surface during the manufacturing process. PROTECH® eliminates the need for floor finishes and improves hygiene and chemical resistance.

Installation:

Inspect subfloor surfaces carefully to determine acceptability. All Siena flooring products must be installed under proper job conditions.

 

Approved adesives:

-       TAJ Eco Bond Adhesive: Maximum 8.0 lbs MVER per 1,000 sf per 24 hours as tested by ASTM F1869 or maximum RH of 90% as tested by ASTM F2170. Test pH of concrete – pH should be 9 or less as tested by ASTM F710.

-       TAJ 585 Adhesive: Maximum 5.0 lbs MVER per 1,000 sf per 24 hours as tested by ASTM F1869 or maximum RH of 80% as tested by ASTM F2170, Test pH of concrete – pH should be 9 or less as tested by ASTM F710

 

Hospital Beds:

In the event that Siena LVT is used in patient rooms, the area under the beds must be installed using the recommended Eco Bond Adhesive system. No substitutions. This adhesive will tolerate point loads within 4 hours of installation.
